The Roaring 20’s of Jenny
My lovely bride and helpmate turned 29 today giving her just one more year of life in her 20’s to live. I know the phrase the roaring 20’s is coined around a decade rather than an age but I would argue that this description fits my wife. One of the definitions for the word roaring is highly successful and the list of accomplishments on her resume makes highly successful look like an understatement. Life in her 20’s has taken her to 5 different countries, down the aisle of matrimony, three different maternity ward visits, a trip to Ottumwa that has no end in sight, and countless other adventures. The way she loves me. The way she loves our children. I’m serious – my wife is amazing. I love my wife. I love her heart. I love how she thinks. I love how she makes me better.
I’m confident with one year to go that Jenny will end her 20’s with the same passion and success that has taken place these past 9 years.
Happy Birthday
I hope you’re right in your confidence. The great depression hit in ‘29.
Seriously though, Jenny is awesome. I’m just messing with you.
That is one of the funniest one liners to cross my comments to date.
You make me smile Phil.
that’s a great post Marty – i should’ve thought of something like that for my wife’s birthday. good for you…
